Direct Care Mobile Podiatry

What is “Direct Care” ?

“Direct Care” is a movement among doctors who no longer allow the insurance companies to interfere with the care of our patients. The ripple effect of insurance bureaucracy is a swelled administraion, shorter visits and the doctor often spending more time with their electronic record keeping and insurance issues than they do with you. In constrast, as a direct care physician, Dr. Myers has chosen to not accept any insurance and work directly for you. This allows the doctor and the patient to meet at an unrushed pace, and spend quality time at each encounter. You may have heard the terms “Concierge Physician” or “Private Physician” which can be the same or similar as “Direct Care” .

What is “Mobile Podiatry”?

“Mobile Podiatry” means Dr. Myers is a housecall doctor. In the insurance based model, very few podiatrists do house calls.
